LEGEND OF THE GREAT SHOWDOWNS - Opens this Friday!

Everything starts this Friday!

We are putting the finishing touches on everything for the show on Friday. Prepare for some surprising things! It all starts at 7PM this Friday at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles.

The LEGEND OF THE GREAT SHOWDOWNS Exhibition will open on March 6th at Gallery 1988 in LA with almost 300 original showdown paintings from the past 5 years! There will also be a bunch of other releases the night of the opening and throughout the month of March including prints, pins, figures, and other surprise things.

If you cannot join us in the gallery, do not fret because we will be broadcasting every event LIVE on my twitch channel (archived on my YouTube channel). You can also join the SCOTT C CLUBHOUSE on Discord to keep up with everything, chat with other pleasant people and join the drawing room for that drawing party!

We have a bunch of fun events planned throughout the month ending with the big closing party on the 28th of March. Some painting demos, drawing/pizza parties, even a wonderful evening of chats with Paul Scheer! THE GREAT GREAT SHOWDOWNS HUNT: Worldwide will kick off on March 16th on Slashfilm.com and run for 7 days! Original little paintings will be hidden around the world for you to find! I am very excited about all of these things and I hope that you can join us for any and all of them!

Edward Scissorhands pin for MONDO!

Mondo rolled out some really tender items last week. One of which is Edward Scissorhands pin of little Edward hanging out on his suburban block! He is standing in the middle of the street, but don’t worry. It is a quiet neighborhood.

New GREAT SHOWDOWNS Prints!

It is time for some new Great Showdowns prints for February!

This month’s prints will become available in the Scott C Shop this Wednesday, February 19th at 1pm EST! Please welcome into your homes: “The Infiltrators”, “The Space Creatures”, and “The Hill”. All available in the Scott C Shop.

This will be the usual timed release which means they will be on sale for just 24 hours. The edition size shall be determined by however many have sold in that 24 hour span of time. Sale ends Thursday at 1:30pm EST.

New FARAWAY GALAXY Poster with MONDO!

I am completely over the entire moon to announce this to you, everyone.

Mondo has created some of the most incredible movie posters that have ever blessed this earth. You probably already know and love them. They are also just wonderful buddies and I’ve wanted to do a poster with them for quite a long time. I am very proud to announce that we will finally be releasing my first ever Mondo 11-color screenprint tomorrow! And it is physically enormous, you guys.

Every square inch of this movie inspired who I am today and the paintings and stories I create.  Every character in this film meant something to me, even the characters passing by in the background. I have always wanted to create a painting that paid homage to every one of those characters. I wanted to include every Cantina patron, every X Wing pilot and Jawa. The ships were all characters, so it was important that they were welcomed into this family. It became quite a party, this painting.  It is a place I have always wanted to live within.  It was a dream realized, my friends, and I invite you to join me in this world.

"Koala Kangaroo Hug" for Australia Wildlife Relief!

Alright, everyone. It is time for us to help the Australian wildlife survive these terrible fires.

In an effort to aide in the recovery efforts we will be offering up a two week limited run print of “Koala Kangaroo Hug” starting 1/23/20 and running until 2/6/20 with all of the profits going to Wires Wildlife Rescue and Wildlife Victoria .

In addition to this run of prints we are also auctioning off the original “Koala Kangaroo Hug” painting on ebay for 10 days starting 1/23/20 and ending 2/2/20. Please spread the word if you can!

Each signed print measures 8x8 Estimated shipping dates of four to six weeks.

I Am 8Bit Advent Calendar

Let me start by saying this advent calendar is NOT available in the I Am 8Bit store. It was a special thing from I Am 8Bit to all of their loved ones and people they love to work with. I WISH it was available to everyone because I am so happy with how it turned out!

I Am 8Bit asked me if I wanted to make an advent calendar and design 24 unique chocolates. I love advent calendars quite a lot. Nothing gets me into the holiday spirit like an advent calendar. There is something quite special to opening a new door everyday to reveal some new secret. I love opening doors, i love secret things, and i love COUNTDOWNS. Countdowns to anything really.

In this particular advent calendar we decided to make an I Am 8Bit fort where vaguely number 8 looking double headed characters hang around enjoying all of the exciting activities that the gang at I Am 8Bit enjoy with their shows, records, films, games, and events. Just the greatest fort for Number 8 Heads to spend time in. A fort where a Number 8 Head can find comfort with friends or lone dogging it.

Anyway, I enjoyed making this thing very much. I hope you got one! And if not, maybe we can make more of these in the future!
