Paris Trip!

We had the most amazing trip to Paris for the Le Salon du Livre Jeunesse de Montreuil. Thank you so much to Francois and Marie and all the folks at Little Urban for hosting me and showing us such a wonderful time.  We met so many great people!  I loved seeing all of your faces!

Le Salon du Livre Jeunesse de Montreuil – Paris

Hello, all of my Parisian friends!

I am coming to visit you very soon!  We will be attending the Le Salon du Livre Jeunesse de Montreuil (Dec 1 – 3) with the folks Little Urban and I am just freaking out excited about it. Little Urban has translated and recently published a bunch of my picture books including Hug Machine (La Machine à Câlins), East Dragon West Dragon (Dragon de l’Est, dragon de l’Ouest), Zombie in Love (Un Amour de Zombie), and my art book collection Amazing Everything (Amazing Everything : Le Monde Merveilleux de Scott C.)!

Here is my signing schedule for the Little Urban Stand H5 (Rez-de-chaussée):

Thursday Dec 1st @ 4 pm – 6 pm

Friday Dec 2nd @ 6 pm – 8 pm

Saturday Dec 3rd @ 4 pm – 6 pm

My other publisher Cambourakis will also be there at table ……… with all of my Great Showdowns books!  I hope to sign there a bit, but if you can get the books over there, bring them to me at Little Urban and Iwill sign and draw little pictures in them!!

Gosh.  I am very excited to be returning to France and to see all of you!  Let’s give each other lot’s of hugs!  I think we all need those right now, you guys.

BREAKBOT Poster in France...

Hello, everyone!

I feel like it’s been a long time since I have posted anything.  I’ve been quite busy finishing up this new picture book, so I apologize for that.  I shall be reentering the word of the internet very soon.

In fact, here is something for you to check out.  I was very flattered and excited to be asked by the Rock en Seine festival to paint a poster for BREAKBOT.  I love BREAKBOT very much. You should listen to BREAKBOT right now. And if you are able, you should go see them on August 26th! It will make you feel so good and your body will move around dancely.  That is why I put a bunch of little dancing things all over the poster as you can see. (Coincidentally, the picture book I am finishing up is called BROBOTS. haha wow.  the world.)

I have just heard word that all of the posters can also be seen in the Metro in Paris.  The BREAKBOT one specifically at the Duroc Station (lign 10 and 13) until next Monday! Go have a look!  And for those of you who cannot go there in person, here is a photo of it…
